Eccles Arts and Crafts Market 2012 : Mar 21, 2012

Eccles Community Art gallery have branched out into running a free monthly Arts and Craft fair in Eccles Shopping Centre. If any Creative Hive members are interested to take up a table to sell their craft items or come along and see what it's about, please see the information below.

Dates: 1st Saturday of every month

Feb 4th, March 3rd, April 7th, May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th, Sept 1st, October 6th, Nov 3rd, Dec 1st

 

Location:

February 2012: Unit 2, Boothway, Eccles, M30 0EB

Other Arts and Crafts Markets will be in The Mall, Eccles unless otherwise stated

 

Times:

Set up time:       Between 8:00am and 9:45am. All boxes/packaging, etc, to be securely stowed before 10:00am

Craft fair time:  10:00am – 3:00pm

 

Equipment required:

Table, no larger than a 6ft trestle table unless by prior agreement with the organiser (available from Wilkinsons and B+Q for around £10).

You are welcome to bring additional drapes and boards providing they are secure and will fit on the table.

Electrical equipment/lighting is not permitted unless accompanied by a valid PAT’s certificate and by prior agreement with the manager of Eccles Shopping Centre, Kyla Ankers

 

Facilities available:

Toilets: Public council run toilets are available in the Mall, and customer toilets in Morrison’s Supermarket

Food and drink can be purchased in the shopping centre

Parking: John William Street Car Park – rear of centre

Loading and unloading can be carried out through the rear of unit 26 The Mall next to Card Factory

 

Charges for Eccles Arts and Craft Market :

Public Liability Insurance: Membership of Eccles Community Art Gallery will give you public liability insurance for events  organised by Eccles Community Art gallery.

Gallery Membership fee :           £5 annual fee

                               

The Arts and crafts Markets will be free, courtesy of Eccles Shopping Centre, but if you would like to show your continuing support for Eccles Community Art Gallery a voluntary donation would be most welcome to allow us to continue to fund free public events/workshops
